I was interested in the landscape gardens of Capability Brown (who visited Valentine's Mansions) where trees were used as sculptural objects with which to compose views, I have made a geometric tree in 40mm spray painted polypropylene waste pipes. It is coloured to blend with the surrounding natural trees, yet makes comment on the destruction of nature by human manufacture / waste.
